"Well what can we say about Stepping Stones. Everything about Stepping Stones is absolutely fantastic. We have nothing but praise for all the staff they are all amazing. They have brought our little lady out of her shell. She has enjoyed every minute at Stepping Stones and has ran in from day one. We are very sad to see her leave and wish she could stay forever. We wish you all the best for the future. Thank you from the bottom of her hearts."

 

"Both my children have been to Stepping Stones, and I have never faulted it once. The communication, care and support received is always fantastic. All the children are supported with any difficulties and so are the parents. I also love how it is emphasised to keep safe and have certain rules for safety that are non-negotiable so the children know their boundaries. I love how the teachers go about putting these in place and reinforcing them, as this also help a lot with home life. All the teachers know each child inside out and make the children feel comfortable, and even more so their key person. Thanks to all the staff, but especially my child's key person. The support has been amazing and helped more than you'll know."

"My daughter has learnt so much since being at Stepping Stones pre-school. There are always engaging and new activities for all the children to participate in. My daughter has always been so happy here and the staff have always been amazing with her. I always appreciated when the staff took the time to reassure me that she was okay and told me what she had spent her day doing. I loved being able to go on the trips with her such as the pumpkin patch, forest school, and seeing the alpacas. I have no comments for improvements, as I have always felt that both myself and my daughter have been supported, it is just a shame that the time has passed so quickly. I'm sure she will cherish her time at pre-school. I have loved being invited into pre-school for Stay and Play sessions where I am able to see her in her school environment. Thank you to all the staff for providing the best first school setting for her."

She has been able to flourish in the environment. We appreciate the vast array of opportunities the pre-school has provided  such as stay and plays and local trips. Pre-school has helped prepare my daughter for school in a gentle and encouraging way, helping to make the transition as smooth as possible."

 

"The pre-school is amazing! Myself and my child have both loved the staff and her time there. She has learnt so much and became a very confident and  independent social child in her time here, despite struggling with this beforehand. Her favourite things have included...Wildspace!! School trips and events such as Mothers Day lunch and Fathers day, Christmas party and the Jubilee party. We cant thank you enough for the support, love and kindness you have shown her in the last 18 months."

 

"For the very first time, I visited Stepping Stones I knew it was going to be perfect for my daughter. From that first day the staff were amazing with both my daughter and myself. I was a very anxious first time mum but all the staff members helped ease my anxieties throughout the year. My daughter has flourished whilst being in Stepping Stones. I can not remember a day where she hasn't come running out with a beaming smile on her face. The opportunities given to the children were brilliant, such as Wildspace sessions. Thank you for looking after the most precious thing in my world and being a big part of her life."

 

2023 - 2024

"My son has really enjoyed his time at Stepping Stones. After looking through his profile with him he was very excited to tell me all about the events he has taken part in this year. He especially enjoyed his adventures at Wildspace and we've had some lovely performances at home of all the songs you've taught him. He is very fond of all the staff, he's spoken about all of you at home. It's lovely you are all so approachable and you've kept me informed of any improvements you've seen. I'm so happy with the progress he's made and with all your time and efforts to help him. We will both miss you all. A special thank you to Sharon for being an amazing key worker to both my boys during their time at Stepping Stones."

 

"My daughter had the best time at pre-school from the very first day she has been excited to go and exhausted afterwards! The whole team have made her feel welcome and have included her in all aspects of school. She has been allowed to work at her own pace whilst being challenged to achieve her best. We have seen her grow in confidence around other children and this has shown outside pre-school too! On a personal note, I have felt supported and included in all aspects of her time at pre-school. The staff have shown a great understanding in the challenges we face. We cant thank you enough for everything you have done for us and we feel well equipped for our new adventure at Meadowgate."

There is not a day goes by where she is not wanting to go, she even asked to go at the weekends! I just want to thank you all for everything you've done for my daughter. He hasn't been upset about going to pre-school which is so nice to see when dropping him off. We really like the children's profiles at Stepping Stones, it's so nice to see everything written and all the photographs  (to keep forever - I still have my daughters). A massive thank you for everything you have done for my son during his time with you."
